Introduction

Hey Girls!
I miss having you home and cooking for you. I love it when you call and ask me for my recipes. The last time you called me, I started thinking that blog could work for us as a living cookbook and span the distance between us.

So, I am making this blog so you can have my recipes at your fingertips wherever you go. I am hoping this is a fun way to capture our family recipes.  I will do a separate post for each recipe to facilitate being able to search by the recipe name. If I know the family history around a given recipe then I will include this information in the blog post as well. This is a public platform so you can share it with anymore you would like. Also, this is a public platform so I won't be putting our personal information in here. This will be for our family recipes and stories.






I'd like to take a few lines here to express gratitude to my Great-Grandma Hazenfield, Grandma Philbrook, Aunt Dorey, Mom, Dad Annie John, Khalid's Mom, Mama Becky, Cecilia's Mom, Cecilia, and all of the other beautiful people who have shaped my recipe book and taste buds.
